Relations between President Biden and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel appear to have sunk to a new low, with both men pressed hard by domestic politics and looming elections. Mr. Netanyahu, however, allowed his defense minister, Yoav Gallant, to remain in Washington for talks. In a recent interview, Mr. Ben-Gvir, the national security minister, accused Mr. Biden of tacitly supporting Israel’s enemies. Mr. Biden called it “a good speech” without endorsing the call for new elections. But Mr. Biden is far more popular in Israel than Mr. Obama was and a serious break with Washington would deeply undermine Israel’s security and its future.

WASHINGTON — The Biden campaign has zeroed in on a likely date and location for a fundraiser with three Democratic presidents — Joe Biden, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton — according to three people familiar with the planning. The fundraiser is expected to take place on March 28 in New York City, possibly at Radio City Music Hall, these people said. A spokesperson for the Biden campaign said no details have been finalized, including venue or location. NBC News first reported last month that the Biden campaign was trying to organize a fundraiser with the current president and his two most recent Democratic predecessors. Obama and Clinton also remain popular leaders in the Democratic Party.

Judge Lawrence J.C. VanDyke wrote that he agreed with their decision but objected because his two colleagues had been harsher when dealing with cases involving former President Donald J. Trump. In a five-page dissent, Judge VanDyke, a Trump appointee, wrote that the other judges did not give the former president’s administration the same deference when they were considering several challenges to his immigration policies.
